Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is hiring a Branch Manager in Madisonville, KY. The role oversees daily store operations to achieve sales and margin goals while promoting excellent customer service and maintaining inventory and expenses in line with safety and regulatory standards.

You will train inside sales staff, mentor team members, and support the outside sales team in building client relationships and welcoming new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership or managerial experience, preferably in retail industrial sales.
• Ability to interpret safety rules and MSDS/documents.
• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to foster a diverse, team-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations to meet sales and margin goals.
• Promote sales, deliver excellent customer service, maintain inventory levels.
• Balance expenses through effective purchasing and cost control.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance; lead staff training.
• Support outside sales and nurture client relationships; assist in new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate daily financial processing and reporting.
