Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program; within 1 year of completion acceptable.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years library experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 15–35 branch staff and plan the work of all branch employees.
• Lead hiring processes and onboarding for 5–10 new hires annually with HR.
• Oversee facilities, safety, and budget for the branch.
• Collaborate on programming, outreach, and merchandising of the collection.
• Engage daily with customers on the service floor and train staff in customer service and tech areas.
