Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Branch Manager for Modesto, CA to lead a team, drive branch profitability, and oversee daily operations. You will manage budgets, safety, inventory, and customer relationships to achieve growth and strong performance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in sales/operations, leadership experience, and strong inventory/P&L skills. A forklift certification and a valid driver's license are preferred; position requires on-site work at the Modesto location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales, operations, electrical distribution, or similar B2B industry experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitability by utilizing company digital tools to maximize all aspects of branch performance.
• Lead external digital strategy through customer digital adoption
• Provide leadership, motivation, direction, and training to branch personnel.
• Ensure branch personnel have the tools necessary to achieve highest levels of sales potential.
• Effectively manage branch P&L to meet or exceed sales and income targets.
• Implement branch safety standards and conduct facility inspections.
• Maintain and develop relationships with customers and vendors.
• Conduct inventory control procedures and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Collaborate with partners to support branch goals.
• Make deliveries to branches/customers as required.
