Job summary

American Community Bank of Indiana is seeking a Branch Manager to lead daily operations, drive deposit growth, and coach a high-performing team. You will engage with customers, oversee sales activities, and ensure exceptional service.

This role requires hands-on leadership, outside business development, and the ability to balance risk awareness with customer outcomes in a community bank setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of retail banking experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• At least 2 years of community development or sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a branch sales and marketing strategy to grow deposits, loans, and partner referrals.
• Establish and align individual and team sales goals to maximize branch productivity.
• Conduct regular outside sales calls to existing and new business clients.
• Promote the bank through active community involvement, leveraging local contacts to build a pipeline of new business.
• Cross-sell and refer customers to appropriate bank partners to deepen relationships and grow share of wallet.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team.
• Ensure staff are properly trained to meet individual and branch sales goals.
• Hold team members accountable to individual performance targets and overall branch goals.
• Conduct performance evaluations and career development conversations.
• Foster a culture of open, honest, and consistent feedback.
• Set and model high customer service standards.
• Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and problems with professionalism and efficiency.
• Coach team members on operational responsibilities, risk awareness, and service excellence.
• Educate and demo consumer and business digital banking products and services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
