Purvis Industries, LLC. is seeking a Branch Manager in Victoria, TX to lead branch operations, drive sales growth, manage inventory, and develop employees for long-term profitability.

The role partners with regional leadership to execute strategic plans and ensure top-tier customer service at a busy industrial distributor. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership, strong P&L understanding, and the ability to manage multi-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a similar management position.
• Four years of management experience preferred.
• Minimum of three years of progressive industry experience required.
• Four years of progressive industry experience preferred.
• Product and application experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop strategies to increase sales, improve margins, and grow market share.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts while pursuing new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and sales representatives to strengthen customer relationships and drive sales growth.
• Monitor marketplace trends, competitive activity, and customer needs.
• Address customer concerns and satisfaction issues promptly and professionally.
• Participate in community, business, and industry organizations to enhance the branch's reputation and market presence.
• Oversee inventory management activities, including forecasting, planning, auditing, and inventory control.
• Ensure warehouse operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and accurately.
• Monitor inventory levels to support customer service and operational requirements.
• Work closely with purchasing, operations, and sales teams to optimize inventory investment and product availability.
• Hire, train, coach, and supervise branch personnel.
• Foster a positive, productive, and customer-focused work environment.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to employees to achieve branch and organizational goals.
• Evaluate employee performance and support professional development opportunities.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the branch.
• Partner with the Credit Department to ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and ethical business practices.
• Support compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws and company policies related to hiring, promotion, compensation, and workplace conduct.
• Maintain a professional image while representing the company within the community and industry.
• Continue developing knowledge of industry trends, products, management practices, and financial disciplines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
