Trustco Bank is seeking a dynamic Branch Manager to lead daily operations of a full-service branch in a fast-paced community environment. You will oversee sales, service, lending, and security while mentoring a team of Branch staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The role emphasizes growth through new business development, referrals, and client retention, balancing efficiency with strategic expansion.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Supervisory experience in a banking or retail setting preferred.
• Strong customer service, cash handling, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all branch operations, ensuring excellent customer service and operational excellence.
• Develop new deposit, loan, and business opportunities while achieving branch sales and retention goals.
• Coach, supervise, and evaluate Assistant Branch Managers, Head Teller, and Tellers; conduct training and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and security protocols.
• Handle complex customer requests and resolve escalated issues in person or by phone.
• Approve significant transactions and maintain branch appearance and performance standards.
• Report branch performance, opportunities, and challenges to senior management.
