Job summary

Platte Valley Bank is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the Platte Valley Bank branch with a focus on service excellence and sales performance. You will direct operations, supervise a branch team, and promote community engagement while ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient cash handling.

Responsibilities include managing daily branch activities, supervising staff, and overseeing loan product advising within policy. Strong leadership and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in bank operations or related banking functions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Five to seven years of experience in bank operations or related banking functions (Branch Manager II).
• Ten years of experience in bank operations or related banking functions with Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field strongly preferred or required (Branch Manager III).

Responsibilities

• Manage branch activities to achieve established goals and objectives.
• Supervise, coach and develop a high-performing branch team.
• Cultivate an environment focused on proactive customer engagement, service excellence, and continuous learning.
• Oversee workflow, scheduling and staffing of associates handling financial transactions and account servicing.
• Grant commercial and consumer lending authority and advise on loan products while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Serve as location leader for daily personal and business account services and may balance cash drawers.
• Educate and troubleshoot banking tools for customers (digital, mobile, bank cards).
• Maintain knowledge of money handling policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
