Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in sales, operations, or finance required, 6+ years preferred.
• 4 year degree in Business, Marketing or related major preferred.
• Knowledge of wholesale distribution industry and supply chain management principles.
• Knowledge of the impact pricing decisions have on the profit and loss of the Company.
• Knowledge of various suppliers and their product lines.
• Business planning and market analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement programs to maximize net profit and return on sales.

• Monitor customer service levels, and take action to improve service as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels, and promote sale of obsolete/overstocked material.
• Oversee preparation of large branch budget, and monitor performance to meet objectives.
• Manage a large number of employees and delegate effectively.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and policies.
• Develop and maintain business relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Monitor competitive conditions and expand market share.
