Job summary

Coolman HVAC Supply seeks a Branch Manager for the new Burbank, CA location. The role leads daily operations, oversees 4–7 staff, and ensures inventory accuracy while driving sales growth in HVAC supplies.

You will partner with the Director of Operations on business development and collaborate with other branches to optimize company performance. The position offers a full-time schedule from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, with base pay $75,000–$100,000 DOE plus commission.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of inventory control experience.
• 5+ years leading a team of 4+ individuals in industrial retail/manufacturing/trades.
• 2+ years HVAC sales experience required.
• Ability to lift 50–250 pounds with assistance.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders safely.
• Proficient with Windows, Google Apps, and inventory systems.
• Experience with Shopify POS is a plus.

Coolman HVAC Supply has an immediate opening for a Branch Manager at our new Burbank, CA branch! Looking for an individual with an outgoing personality who is highly driven, a self-starter, and hardworking, seeking a company with growth opportunities. Previous experience as a Branch Manager, Operations Manager, Assistant Manager, or Sales Manager at an HVAC Equipment distributor is required.

Schedule - The Branch will be open Monday-Friday 6:30 am-5:00 pm (workday start time and 8-10 hour days depending on branch needs)

Full-Time - Base salary range: $75,000.00 to $100,000.00 DOE, plus commission.

• Oversee all day-to-day operations of the Coolman HVAC Supply location you are in charge of.
• Oversee a team of 4-7 individuals.
• Lead the team in their daily tasks.
• Function as the branch expert on all processes.
• Inventory control.
• Support the sales team when needs arise, help customers, resolve issues, and develop new business opportunities.
• Support the warehouse team when needs arise, pulling orders, unloading and loading trucks, working with them to ensure inventory is accurate, reordering stock as needed.
• Training, coaching, team development, and other HR responsibilities.
• Working with the Director of Operations on business development, HR, operations improvement.
• Working with other Coolman HVAC Supply locations Branch managers to support overall company operations.
• Managing branch finances.
• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to occasionally lift 50-250 pounds with help from others.
• Ability to sometimes work at heights up to 15 feet.
• Comfortable being on your feet all day.
• Honest and respectful to customers, employees, and suppliers.
• Regular, consistent attendance for scheduled shifts.
• 5 Years of inventory control experience is required.
• Experienced at safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and ladders.
• Fluent and skilled in Windows operating systems, Google Suites, Gmail, and any inventory management system.
• Previous experience using Shopify POS is a plus.
• Proven track record of sales growth in an HVAC supply house in an assistant manager, operations manager, or branch manager position.
• Has 5 years minimum experience leading a team of 4+ individuals and being responsible for their performance, in an industrial retail, manufacturing, or trades environment.
• Can problem-solve and think critically.
• Has great communication and interpersonal skills, whether in person, over the phone, through email, or via text.
• Reliable, patient, fair, and helpful.
• Driven for constant improvement in all things.
• Proven track record of personal growth.
• 2 years + experience in HVAC Sales is required.
• Leads safety initiatives and prioritizes safety in the workplace.
• Organized and capable of multitasking, being able to thrive under pressure.
• Experience in QuickBooks is a plus.
