Job summary

Peoplelink Group in Bloomington, IL is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead operations, grow recruiting teams, and deliver responsive staffing services. This role focuses on expanding local accounts, coaching recruiters, and maintaining strong client relationships.

The position is in-office with local travel, Monday–Friday 8AM–5PM, and offers $66k–$82k base plus commission. Join a team committed to growth, customer service excellence, and compliant hiring practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, staffing operations, or related customer-facing roles.
• Ability to coach, motivate, set expectations, and hold a team accountable.
• Confident speaking with customers, candidates, employees, and community contacts.
• Customer-first mindset with problem-solving and direct communication.
• Initiative to learn sales and build local market connections.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for local travel.

Responsibilities

• Grow and retain customer relationships through strong service, problem-solving, and expanded account support.
• Lead recruiting and hiring from sourcing and screening through onboarding, placement, and retention.
• Motivate and coach recruiters through clear expectations, regular feedback, recognition, accountability, and hands-on support.
• Build connections across the local market through networking, community involvement, referrals, customer visits, and prospect outreach to grow the customer base.
• Understand changing customer needs and provide practical staffing solutions with timely, honest communication.
• Manage branch goals, budget, productivity, service, and performance metrics to support profitable growth.
• Ensure compliant hiring practices and adherence to employment laws and company policies.
• Provide flexible support outside normal business hours when customer or employee needs require it.

Compensation

$66-$82k + Commission

Schedule

How You’ll Do It

• Associate degree or equivalent experience; valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a personal vehicle for local travel.
