Job summary

Fox Communities Credit Union in Appleton, Wisconsin, seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations and a team of staff. You will hire, train, coach, and monitor staff performance while ensuring excellent member service and adherence to credit union policies.

The role supports growth and maintains strong member relationships. The position requires leadership experience in financial services, a two-year degree or equivalent, and flexibility for rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.
• Three years or more of leadership experience required.
• Financial Institution experience is a plus.
• Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills necessary for supervising a team and servicing credit union members.
• Ability to resolve conflict and problem solve.
• Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Flexible availability, including rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Promote and uphold the Fox Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values, and support the member experience.
• Assist Regional Branch Manager with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Provide daily performance coaching and growth/development coaching to team members.
• Monitor branch goals and performance; partner with leadership to take corrective actions.
• Oversee service levels and staffing to ensure quick, high-quality member experiences.
• Manage transactions and account maintenance accurately and support issue resolution.
• Represent the credit union in relationships with members, sponsors, suppliers, and other institutions.
