Trustco Bank is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure the branch functions with efficiency, security, and warmth for every customer.

This role leverages your experience with residential mortgages, IRA services, and personal banking products to deliver tailored solutions, strengthen customer relationships, and drive branch growth. Join a collaborative team focused on service excellence and professional development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Supervisory and leadership experience.
• Strong customer service background.
• Cash handling experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English; bilingual a plus.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Well-organized and adept at managing multiple priorities.
• Team-oriented with collaborative mindset.
• Ability to lift 10–20 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: manage staff and day-to-day operations in the Branch Manager’s absence.
• Team Supervision: oversee Head Teller and Teller teams.
• Branch Branding & Growth: promote branch identity and sales initiatives.
• Customer Engagement: connect with clients and resolve issues.
• Compliance & Accuracy: review transactions and ensure policy adherence.
• Performance & Standards: meet branch targets and ensure security and regulatory compliance.
• Professional Development: pursue training and ongoing education.
