Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Branch Manager in West Springfield, MA to lead a branch team focused on acquiring and growing small business relationships, delivering excellent client service, and maintaining strong regulatory compliance. The role requires coaching, staffing, and outside business development to achieve branch goals.

The position emphasizes leadership, financial product knowledge, and a community presence, with weekend shifts as needed and a strong emphasis on customer relationship-building.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience (required).
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• 3+ years experience in a sales capacity leading a team (required).
• 3+ years experience with small business deposits/credit (required).
• Understanding of financial statements and concepts (required).
• Experience leveraging Centers of Influence (COIs) to promote business (required).
• Ability to influence partners such as Key Investment Services, Mortgage and Business Banking (required).
• Strong communication and public speaking skills (required).
• Notary License (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Engages in outside calling to small business clients in the community.
• Lead branch team to achieve activity, behavior, and outcome expectations.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, recruiting, onboarding, and training.
• Provide coaching and performance management to the branch team.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and internal controls.
• Work on Saturdays as directed by management.
