Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Branch Manager in Lakewood, CO to lead a branch team, drive client service excellence, and expand small business relationships. You will coach staff, manage scheduling, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster community partnerships to grow the bank’s presence.

The role requires 3+ years in sales leadership, small business banking experience, and strong communication skills. Notary license is preferred; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a sales capacity with a demonstrated ability to lead and coach a successful sales team.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in small business deposit/credit experience and familiarity with small business operations.
• General understanding of financial statements and concepts.
• Demonstrated understanding of consumer credit including loan to value, debt to income and credit reports.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage Centers of Influence (COIs).
• Influence of partners such as Key Investment Services, Mortgage and Business Banking sales professionals.

Responsibilities

• Embodies a strong client experience culture with clients and teammates.
• Engages in outside calling to small business clients in the community to identify referrals.
• Grow the business through retention, expansion, and acquisition tactics.
• Lead and develop the branch team, ensuring understanding of products and services.
• Facilitate partnerships with COIs and line of business partners.
• Manage staffing, recruiting, onboarding, and training of branch team.
• Deliver coaching and performance management with tools and training.
