Job summary

KeyBank in Cincinnati is seeking a Branch Manager to lead and coach a sales-oriented team, focus on acquiring small business clients, and deliver outstanding client experiences. You will guide staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with banking teams to expand relationships.

The role requires 3+ years in sales leadership, small business deposit/credit experience, and strong communication skills. Occasional Saturday work is noted; highly proactive community engagement is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma , GED, or equivalent experience (required)
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
• 3+ years Experience in a sales capacity with a demonstrated ability to lead and coach a successful sales team. (required)
• 3+ years Demonstrated small business deposit/credit experience and familiarity with small business operations (required)
• General understanding of financial statements and concepts (required)
• Demonstrated understanding of consumer credit including loan to value, debt to income and credit reports (required)
• Demonstrated ability to leverage Centers of Influence (COIs) to further promote business (required)
• Demonstrated experience with influencing business partners, as this role will require significant influence of partners such as Key Investment Services, Mortgage and Business Banking sales professionals (required)
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and possess strong public speaking skills (required)

Responsibilities

• Embodies a strong client experience culture, with focus on client interactions and financial wellness goals.
• Engages in outside calling to small business clients and develops COIs to generate referrals.
• Leads and develops branch team to meet activity, behavior, and outcomes expectations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, security and internal controls; manage branch operations tasks.
• Staffing, scheduling, recruiting, onboarding and training of branch teammates.
• Provide coaching and performance management through observations and development plans.
• Collaborate with line of business partners to grow client relationships and cross-sell.
