Job summary

KeyBank's Port Clinton branch is seeking a Branch Manager to lead and coach a sales-focused team, deliver exceptional client service, and drive small business growth in our local community. You will oversee operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide staff through branch playbooks and customer solutions.

You'll recruit, train, and develop teammates, manage staffing, and partner with business lines to expand client relationships, all while upholding KeyBank's values and standards in daily

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a sales capacity with a demonstrated ability to lead and coach a successful sales team.
• Minimum of 3 years demonstrated small business deposit/credit experience and familiarity with small business operations
• General understanding of financial statements and concepts
• Demonstrated understanding of consumer credit including loan to value, debt to income and credit reports
• Demonstrated ability to leverage Centers of Influence (COIs) to further promote business
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and possess strong public speaking skills
• Strong leadership skills are essential for motivating and guiding teammates effectively

Responsibilities

• Engages in outside calling to small business clients in the community.
• Accountable for growing the business through retention, expansion, and acquisition tactics.
• Leads and develops the branch team, ensuring understanding of Key's products and services.
• Develop partnerships within branch and with line of business partners to acquire and deepen client relationships.
• Staffing, scheduling, recruiting, onboarding and training of branch teammates.
• Deliver coaching and performance management aligned with Key's playbook and values.
• Ensure regulatory, security, and internal control compliance in branch operations.
