Ameris Bank Savannah is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee all branch operations, coach a sales-driven team, and ensure top-tier customer service and compliance. You will plan, direct, and optimize daily functions while pursuing business development and community engagement.

The role emphasizes staff leadership, strategic growth, and risk controls, with a focus on delivering financial peace of mind to customers and executing the bank's core values.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail banking experience.
• 1+ year of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Branch operations experience required.
• Cross selling experience required.
• Sales management and business development experience required.

Responsibilities

• Complete weekly outside business development objectives with warm prospects and existing customers. CRM tracking of calls, pipeline and conversions.
• Implement strategy, monitor performance and motivate a team to meet service and sales objectives.
• Recruit, train, coach, lead, schedule, and evaluate staff.
• Optimize resources to meet branch operational needs.
• Drive excellent customer experiences by addressing feedback and resolving issues.
• Oversee branch safety, security and compliance; manage audits and documentation.
• Represent the bank in community and networking functions; communicate with leadership.
• Maintain knowledge of products, programs, services and promotions.
• Lead trainings and staff meetings; approve policy exceptions within limits.
