First Mid Bancshares, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Charleston, IL to lead a team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will coach tellers, ensure compliance with policies, and support the branch’s sales goals.

Strong emphasis on teamwork, confidentiality, and leadership in the absence of the Branch Manager. This role is based at our local banking center and offers Total Rewards as part of compensation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in the financial industry.
• 1+ years of sales or goal-based environment.
• Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of advanced math functions that will allow for the analysis of credit and financial information.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to ensure an exceptional customer and team member experience.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and team information.
• Ensure adherence to bank initiatives, compliance, security, and policies.
• Supervise and coach tellers and universal bankers on sales and operations.
• Assist Branch Manager and provide leadership in their absence.
• Manage customer account requests and cash drawer as needed.
• Identify opportunities to expand retail banking relationships.
