Job summary

Interra Credit Union in Shipshewana, IN is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a team and serve our members as their most trusted financial resource. You will reinforce member experience standards, ensure operational integrity, and execute on culture, service, and financial performance initiatives.

You will coach staff, manage performance reviews, develop annual goals, and build strong community relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years customer service experience in banking, retail, or related field plus 2+ years leading and managing teams.
• Lending experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and commit to develop direct reports and to maximize branch productivity and efficiency. Coach and mentor staff to ensure continual improvement and compliance; complete performance reviews and handle promotions.
• Establish relationships with current and potential members to identify account and loan needs; assist with openings/closings and process loan apps within authority.
• Troubleshoot and resolve feedback and complaints; inform members of services and policies; advise on financial needs and requested services.
• Ensure all branch operations balance at close; oversee cash handling and audit readiness; prepare month-end reports for senior management.
• Act as primary security officer; manage facility needs; ensure security procedures and opening/closing of the building.
