Job summary

Mountain America Credit Union in Moab invites an Assistant Branch Manager to lead branch operations, coach staff, and drive extraordinary member experiences. You will work with the Branch Manager to maintain AAA standards, manage daily cash, and ensure branch compliance, while fostering a service-driven culture.

Requirements include 3+ years in financial services with at least 1 year of lending, a two-year degree, and the ability to obtain a Notary license and MLO credentials under S.A.F.E.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in financial industry experience, including 1+ years lending.
• Two-year college degree or equivalent required.
• Notary Public or ability to obtain within 90 days; Mortgage Loan Originator licensing per S.A.F.E Act.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations and staff to ensure exceptional member service.
• Coach and develop team members using the MACU Way and AAA skills.
• Approve/deny loans; back-up for Branch Manager in loan exceptions.
• Maintain compliance with Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, GLBA, and related regulations.
• Manage scheduling, cash handling, and branch security.
