Job summary

First Option Bank in Kansas seeks an experienced Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations and drive growth. You will supervise tellers and new accounts staff, manage cash operations, and uphold the bank's customer pledge and conduct standards.

You will build relationships with customers and community partners while ensuring compliance, risk controls, and high service levels across all functions.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of banking experience or equivalent management experience.
• Three (3) or more years of supervisory/leadership experience in banking.
• Ability to lead, coach, and retain branch staff toward growth and profitability.
• Strong communication with customers, employees, management, and partners.
• Deep understanding of banking regulations, controls, and risk management.
• Proven ability to oversee branch operations and optimize performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch staff, train and coach tellers and new accounts personnel.
• Schedule staff to ensure coverage and service levels.
• Maintain cash vault operations, cash reports, and security procedures.
• Support cash flow management and branch financial targets.
• Conduct regular audits and address discrepancies with internal controls.
• Develop and manage local business relationships and community presence.
• Participate in hiring decisions and staff performance evaluations.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote customer service excellence and uphold customer pledges.
