Job summary

CoreFirst Bank & Trust in Topeka, KS seeks an experienced Branch Manager to lead a busy downtown location, drive production, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will oversee day-to-day operations, schedule staff, coach and develop team members, manage the sales process (new accounts, loans, referrals), and ensure adherence to policy.

2 years of banking or retail sales experience, with supervisory experience included.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day branch operations, including scheduling staff.
Directly manage and motivate branch staff to create a team environment.
Responsible for training and ongoing staff development, including coaching sessions and staff meetings.
Oversee the branch sales process: new banking accounts, loan applications, referrals.
Maintain compliance with Retail Essentials and Branch Audit Program.
Track progress toward sales goals and conduct performance appraisals.
Assist in interviewing and hiring Personal Bankers and Lead Personal Bankers.
Collaborate with HR and Retail Operations Management for disciplinary actions.
