Job summary

Heartland Credit Union in Wichita seeks a Branch Manager to lead the Maize Branch, drive growth, coach staff, and deliver outstanding member experiences. This role oversees daily operations and fosters strong community relationships.

The successful candidate will manage staff, lending and service, balance cash operations, and promote all HCU products while ensuring compliance and exceptional member service.

Qualifications

• College degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
• At least three years of related experience in a financial institution and lending.
• Understanding of related legal and regulatory requirements and branch functions, policies, and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and supervisory skills.
• Proven sales and business development skills.
• Well organized and attentive to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch growth, business development, and operational efforts.
• Represent Heartland in community, civic, and professional organizations.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop staff to meet goals.
• Guide staff on operations, lending, service, and sales.
• Oversee teller duties, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash handling.
• Balance vaults, cash dispenser/recycler, and ATM in line with procedures.
• Assist members with lending and account needs, and promote HCU products.
