Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Branch Manager in Sumner, WA to lead the team in delivering Breakthrough Client Service and grow both consumer and business relationships. You will oversee branch operations, staffing, and P&L while ensuring compliance and high audit standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in banking, business, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
3 years of banking experience including consumer lending or business lending exposure is required.
2 years of banking or retail management experience including team leadership and staffing is preferred.
Extensive knowledge of banking products and services with strong business acumen.
MLO responsibilities under SAFE Act compliance are required for mortgage loan origination.
Notary certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage and coach associate performance and development while managing staffing levels.
Responsible for branch P&L, growth targets, and managing the branch portfolio and expenses.
Achieve audit targets through sound operational practices.
Partner with Retail and cross-functional leaders to provide client solutions.
Build and maintain relationships with consumers, businesses, and community organizations.
Demonstrate core bank values in daily interactions.
