Job summary

Texas First Rentals (TFR) in Waco is seeking a Store Manager to direct all activities of a single location, drive profitability, and lead branch staff. You will align with Holt family values while delivering Legendary Customer Service and maintaining high safety standards.

As part of the Holt family of companies, you will coordinate with district and sales leadership, manage expenses, and ensure equipment availability and reliability for customers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Five+ years of experience in business/operational management.
• Three to five years of retail or store management experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Hires, develops, evaluates, and leads branch productivity and teamwork.
• Models and reinforces values-based leadership to align with mission.
• Manages branch operations and personnel.
• Assists with equipment demonstrations and technical support.
• Drives Sales and Marketing initiatives, market share, and retention.
• Establishes high safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Recruits, trains, and retains qualified employees; sets expectations.
• Supports Sales Manager with market conditions and customers.
• Responsible for product quality, on-time deliveries, and showroom.
• Plans, directs, and coordinates rental equipment operations.
• Fosters a customer-focused approach across operations and service.
• Reviews offerings with support departments to grow profitable market share.
• Ensures accurate financial reporting and budgeting.
• Drives business development and KPIs to meet targets.
• Works safely and adheres to policies; performs other duties.
