Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Montgomery, TX is seeking a Retail Assistant Branch Manager to align with the Branch Manager on growth of consumer and business relationships and to deliver the Woodforest Experience to every customer, every day, every time.

The role is full-time and requires leadership, sales, and strong customer service skills. You will develop community partnerships, coach staff, and manage deposits and loans while maintaining confidentiality and high service standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience.
• Demonstrable leadership ability and experience. Prior supervisory experience is helpful.
• Positive and engaging demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager in achieving branch sales and revenue goals by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending banking products and services.
• Develop and lead innovative strategies to grow, retain and deepen consumer and business relationships.
• Proactively grow business deposits and loans through inside and outside business calling.
• Enhance customer experience by greeting, engaging, and developing relationships with customers and community members.
• Lead and coach team members to reach their full potential and act as a positive role model.
