Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking a Retail Assistant Branch Manager in Texas to support the Branch Manager in driving consumer and business relationships, community engagement, and partner collaboration, while delivering the Woodforest Experience.

The role emphasizes energy, leadership, and proactive outside business development to grow deposits and loans, with a strong focus on customer service and a technology-driven experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience.
• Demonstrable leadership ability; prior supervisory experience is helpful.
• Instore banking experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager in achieving branch sales and revenue goals by identifying and recommending banking products and services.
• Proactively grow business deposits and loans through inside and outside calling.
• Enhance customer experience and the bank’s reputation by greeting and developing relationships with customers and community members.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to reach their potential; embrace technology-driven customer experience.
• Support community engagement strategies with partners to be an engaged community bank.
