Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Louisiana is seeking a Retail Branch Manager I to drive consumer and business relationships, community engagement, and partner growth. The role emphasizes delivering the Woodforest Experience to customers daily, while leading and coaching branch staff for profitability, compliance, and service excellence.

You will manage inside and outside sales, recruit and develop a team, and collaborate with community for engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant sales and/or customer service experience.
Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience.
1 year of leading a sales team is required.
In-store banking experience preferred, but not required.
Must be positive and engaging; community residency preferred.

Responsibilities

Achieve branch sales and revenue goals by marketing and recommending banking products.
Create energy around Woodforest culture and branch objectives.
Recruit, train, retain, and motivate staff to meet profitability and growth goals.
Develop strategies to grow and deepen consumer and business relationships.
Grow deposits and loans through inside and outside calling.
Lead a community engagement strategy with the Community Development Relationship Manager.
Lead and inspire team to reach full potential.
