You will manage day-to-day brokerage activities with customers, carriers, pricing, capacity, and market opportunities, while developing a high-performing team aligned with branch goals and DSV standards.

• Experience leading and developing people in domestic freight brokerage and balancing team leadership with customer relationships, business growth and operational performance.
• You’ll lead a branch team and stay closely connected to day-to-day brokerage business including customers, carriers, pricing, capacity and market opportunities.
• You’ll drive branch financial performance, grow customer relationships, support profitable growth and create an environment with clear expectations and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support branch operations to achieve financial, operational, service, and growth objectives.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, coaching, and support to branch employees.
• Build relationships with employees and create an approachable leadership environment.
• Own branch P&L including revenue growth, gross margin, expenses, and profitability.
• Identify opportunities to grow the branch through new business and expanded customer relationships.
