Job summary

First Fidelity Bank in Norman, OK is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead daily operations, mentor staff, and ensure excellent client service. Under supervision of the Branch or Regional Manager, you will coach tellers and personal bankers, coordinate schedules, and help drive sales and satisfaction.

The role requires at least 18 months of supervisory and customer service experience in banking, a high school diploma, and the ability to foster a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous banking experience preferred. Must have at least 18 months of prior experience in customer service and retail sales.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience can be substituted for stated qualifications.
• High school degree or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision and direction of the Branch Manager or Regional Manager, assists with managing the day-to-day operations at the branch, including answering questions and researching and resolving complex problems.
• Clarifies performance expectations with direct reports; sets goals; conducts regular one-on-one and team meetings; provides ongoing performance coaching.
• Provides leadership, mentoring and supervision to staff to maximize sales and service performance.
• Coaches individuals on performance, professional development, and customer service skills; ensures client satisfaction.
• Supports branch sales by coaching staff to generate leads and build relationships with clients.
• Assists with Teller transactions and opening new accounts.
