First-Bank is seeking a Head Teller in Asheboro, NC, to manage daily branch operations and provide exceptional customer service. You will oversee teller functions, cash handling, deposits, and loan payments while supporting vault duties and night depository processes.

The role requires strong leadership, training abilities, and knowledge of bank procedures to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. You will cross-sell products and help resolve customer issues, upholding service excellence.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and time management skills – ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Medium/advanced knowledge of computer terminal and personal computer operation, basic office software.
• Ability to learn and apply bank policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Receive retail and commercial deposits, cash checks and process withdrawals.
• Process loan payments and issue receipts for transactions.
• Promote and cross-sell bank products and services to customers.
• Maintain vault, safe deposit duties and perform night depository tasks.
• Provide leadership and training to tellers and staff as needed.
