Job summary

Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC. is seeking a Branch Manager in Downers Grove, IL to lead and grow an Ameriprise-owned branch. You will recruit, coach, and support advisors, generate local leads, and ensure a client-centric, compliant operation.

The role requires strong leadership, a proven record of growth, and the ability to manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding. In-office collaboration is emphasized, with some flexibility for in-office time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Obtain and maintain registrations to oversee broker/dealer operations and train advisors.
• Active FINRA Series 7 or ability to obtain within 150 days.
• Active FINRA Series 24/9/10 or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Active State Securities Agent Registration (S63 or S66) or ability to obtain within 150 days.
• Active State IAR registration (S65 or S66) or ability to obtain within 150 days.
• Active Life and Accident/Health insurance license or ability to obtain within 150 days.
• Proven success driving business growth and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more Ameriprise branch offices and execute a growth plan.
• Recruit high-quality experienced advisors to the branch.
• Generate leads and manage the candidate experience end-to-end.
• Develop the branch value proposition and communicate to candidates.
• Oversee onboarding and ramp-up plans to drive growth.
• Provide coaching to advisors on planning, client acquisition, and advisory services.
• Ensure compliance and risk controls aligned with client objectives.
