Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking a Registered Operations Leader to manage branch operations, staff performance and advisor support. You will drive financial management, reporting and compliance training in a high-growth environment.

The role requires supervising staff, coordinating with the Branch Manager and Senior Leaders, and ensuring smooth execution of client meetings, paperwork and office processes in-office four days per week with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Series 7 or ability to obtain within 150 days.
• State securities agent registration (S63 or S66) or ability to obtain within 150 days.
• State IAR registration (S65 or S66) or ability to obtain within 150 days.
• Life, Accident, and Health licenses & Variable Contracts or ability to obtain within 150 days.
• Supervisory experience including knowledge of HR policies and labor laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to motivate team members to deliver results.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with little supervision and strong organizational/time management skills.
• Proficient with standard business software applications.
• Visa Sponsorship Applicants must have a valid work authorization that does not require sponsorship for US employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities that support business results, revenue growth, client experience and efficiencies.
• Lead, coach, mentor and provide performance management for direct reports.
• Partner with staffing to determine needs; request, hire and allocate staff.
• Conduct 1:1s with staff and manage performance.
• Build and analyze reports and branch vitals; review expense reports and budgets.
• Ensure compliance training needs are met; support real estate and facilities initiatives.
• Assist advisors in servicing clients including financial plans, research and trades.
• Prepare and summarize client meetings and follow up.
• Process new business paperwork and provide general administrative duties.
