Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking a Branch Manager in Minnesota to lead one or more Ameriprise-owned branch offices. You will drive growth by coaching advisers, recruiting top talent, and building a strong office culture focused on client experience.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, FINRA registrations, and a track record of leadership and sales success. Base salary is around $45,000 per year with a pay-for-performance and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Obtain and maintain registrations to oversee broker/dealer operations.
• Active FINRA Series 7 or ability to obtain within 150 days.
• Active FINRA Series 24 or 9/10 or ability to obtain in 90 days.
• Active State Securities Agent Registrations (S63/S66) or ability to obtain within 150 days.
• Active State IAR registrations (S65/S66) or ability to obtain within 150 days.
• Active Life and Accident/Health insurance license or ability to obtain within 150 days.
• Proven success driving business growth.
• Proven leadership and ability to motivate an organization.
• Demonstrated sales success with ability to acquire clients and close business.
• Self-driven and achievement oriented.
• Ability to execute a playbook to drive results.
• Strong presentation skills.
• P&L expense management and data analysis for opportunities.
• Knowledgeable in building community networks.
• Excellent compliance record.

Responsibilities

• Growth of existing advisor practices through coaching on revenue drivers.
• Recruit high quality experienced advisors to your branch.
• Generate leads into local area pipeline and manage candidate experience.
• Develop branch value proposition and articulate to candidates.
• Execute onboarding and ramp-up plans for growth.
• Drive profitable growth through leadership and client experience.
• Provide coaching to advisors on business planning, advice, and investments.
• Lead with integrity and supervise sales activities.
• Manage risk items to protect client interests.
• Build a strong local office culture and teamwork.
