Job summary

Surge Staffing in Kent, WA is seeking a Branch Manager to drive business growth and profitability in a local market. You will develop new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and oversee branch operations to hit sales and performance goals.

Lead sales strategies, secure new clients, and ensure excellent service through coaching and hands-on leadership across the branch team. This role requires strong outside sales experience, leadership, and local travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years outside sales experience in a consultative, solution-based environment.
• Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies, including prospecting, cold calling, presentations, and closing.
• Experience in staffing, human resources, or business services is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and online tools.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, competitive, and deadline-driven environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally to client sites as needed.
• Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with the local market and community preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for new, active, and inactive accounts.
• Identify prospects and create customized approaches to win new business.
• Conduct independent and joint sales calls with branch and management teams.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
• Build and maintain relationships through consistent communication and follow-up.
• Partner with internal teams and headquarters to tailor solutions and close deals.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions, and business results.
• Represent Surge Staffing at local networking events to strengthen community presence and brand recognition.
• Lead branch sales and business development efforts and collaborate with management on strategic initiatives.
• Drive revenue growth and profitability consistent with company goals and forecasts.
• Support team members with guidance, training, and coaching to ensure success.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and urgency.
• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and excellent customer service.
