Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Branch Flex Officer to serve a diverse client base across healthcare, education, finance, and more.

The role offers 30–40 hours weekly with varying shifts and locations, and participation in the Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift self-scheduling program. Expect irregular shifts with little advance notice to support client needs and ongoing career development within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required before employment.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a company or client vehicle.
• Background check required per federal, state and local laws; criminal histories considered case-by-case.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions creating security or safety risks.
• Sound alarms or notify police/fire department in case of fire or unauthorized access.
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering or prohibited items.
• Control access by verifying authorized entrants and monitoring entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal per client rules.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports; maintain logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as site Post Orders require.
