Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional Branch Flex Officer to safeguard clients across healthcare, education, finance, retail, and more. Expect 30–40 hours per week with shifts assigned through our Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift self-scheduling program; schedules vary weekly with irregular shifts and little advance notice.

This role offers hands-on experience, exposure to diverse sites, and a clear path to advancement within a leading security company.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws; prior criminal histories considered.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
