Job summary

Coosa Valley Credit Union is seeking a Financial Services Officer II for our East Rome location. You will manage loan processing, oversee teller functions, and lead the Member Services team to drive branch growth while ensuring compliance and high member satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years banking and cash-handling experience, strong communication, and hands-on leadership. Some travel to other branches or trainings may be required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in banking and cash handling.
• Experience with teller operations and loan processing preferred.
• Strong communication and team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of loan processing and product sales to meet branch goals in compliance with policies.
• Oversee teller functions to ensure efficiency, security, and accuracy.
• Approve or override teller transactions within established limits.
• Perform teller transactions as needed to support branch operations.
• Lead the Member Services team and mentor staff.
• Partner with branch leadership to achieve team goals.
• Ensure teller transactions at least 150 per day with high balancing accuracy.
• Balance cash funds daily and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage teller schedules and branch workflow.
• Foster positive member relations and handle inquiries professionally.
• Maintain records and assist with reports for management.
• Complete loan processing functions in compliance with policies.
• Light travel to other branches or trainings as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
