Job summary

You will supervise a branch team, manage cash handling, and participate in recruitment, training, and local marketing initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and knowledge of banking regulations to maintain asset safety and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising branch teams and operations.
• Familiarity with consumer banking products, lending, and deposit accounts.
• Knowledge of cash handling, vault operations, and ATM processes.
• Understanding of federal regulations governing consumer lending and banking operations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead staff effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the branch team to provide a full range of Navy Federal products and services.
• Assist the Branch Manager in monitoring cash operations and branch self-auditing to secure assets.
• Manage staff to ensure vault opening/closing and balancing procedures are performed.
• Participate in outside marketing and promotional activities for members and potential members.
• Recruit, onboard and train team members; support budget, purchasing and records retention.
• Guide team development toward growth in technical, soft, and leadership skills.
• Support achievement of product, service, and business goals including cross-servicing.
• Lead training to deliver high quality member service; analyze reports to optimize performance.
• Ensure compliance with security, HR policies, and all required procedures; manage daily activities.
