Job summary

Coosa Valley Credit Union in East Rome, GA is seeking a Financial Services Officer II to support loan processing, teller operations, and member services. The role combines branch leadership with strong adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations to help members achieve their financial goals.

You will guide the Member Services team, balance cash daily, manage schedules, and travel to other branches as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 3-5 years of banking experience is required.
• 3-5 years of cash handling experience is required.
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of loan processing and product sales to meet branch goals in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Oversee teller functions, vault, daily branch fund balancing, and inventory of supplies.
• Approve or override teller transactions within limits; verify funds availability.
• Perform teller transactions as needed to support branch operations.
• Lead the Member Services team to deliver excellent service and mentor staff.
• Partner with branch leadership to optimize performance and model best practices.
• Balance at least 150 transactions per day with 98% accuracy.
• Maintain daily cash balancing records and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage teller schedules and branch operations.
• Resolve member inquiries promptly and professionally.
