Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Illinois-Rantoul is seeking a dedicated Banker II to act as the frontline ambassador and grow retail customer relationships by delivering excellent service and promoting banking solutions.

You will support a technology-driven customer experience, handle teller and branch duties, and uphold Woodforest’s core values of Ownership, Service, Community and Integrity in daily interactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience.
• In-store retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for delivering strong retail performance by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate banking solutions.
• Act with accountability in achieving individual sales goals through proactive conversations and referrals.
• Maintain operational excellence through accurate transaction processing and compliance with procedures and policies.
• Explain complex banking solutions in a simple, easy-to-understand way.
