Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Branch Supervisor to lead Universal Banker I/II staff across multiple locations. You will set performance expectations, coach teams, conduct one-on-ones, and ensure service excellence while upholding regulatory requirements.

Travel between branches is required; you will recruit, onboard, and develop staff, manage schedules, and handle escalated member concerns to grow relationships and drive performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3–5 years in retail banking or credit union environment.
• 2+ years supervisory or coaching experience preferred.
• Ability to develop employees, manage performance, and coach sales and service behaviors.
• Knowledge of deposit products, lending, branch operations, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel regularly between branches and work with multiple teams.
• SAFE Act compliance and NMLS registration (as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Universal Banker I and II employees within an assigned branch cluster.
• Establish performance expectations and conduct coaching and development discussions.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, development planning, and recognition.
• Address performance concerns through coaching, counseling, and corrective action.
• Identify high-potential employees and support succession planning.
• Support onboarding, training, and integration of new hires.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate schedules and staffing across branches; approve attendance and time-off.
• Monitor staffing levels and communicate resource needs and workforce challenges.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and candidate selection.
• Deploy employees between branches to address staffing needs and business demands.
• Travel regularly among assigned branch locations.
• Promote consistent Credit Union service standards and member engagement.
• Coach employees on member interactions, referrals, and service recovery.
• Assist with escalated member concerns and resolving service issues.
• Monitor member feedback and identify coaching opportunities.
• Maintain production goals and identify financial needs for members.
• Open accounts, support lending conversations, generate referrals, and build relationships.
• Coach on referrals, follow-up, and relationship development.
• Use reports and performance data to drive development needs.
• Lead by example through productivity and service excellence.
• Support branch procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor operational issues and corrective actions; reinforce security and risk controls.
• Ensure NMLS SAFE Act compliance; update as required.
• Maintain visible leadership across branches and serve as daily resource for staff.
