Job summary

South Shore Bank is seeking a Personal Banking Advisor to perform in-branch duties, educate clients, and cross-sell banking products. This in-person role requires strong customer service and regulatory awareness, with a focus on educating clients about digital banking tools.

Responsibilities include handling deposits, account changes, wire transfers, and safety of funds while maintaining branch operations and security. Bilingual Mandarin or Cantonese is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to assist clients with new account services including additions/changes
• Experience with electronic delivery channels preferred
• Bilingual in Mandarin or Cantonese strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist clients by telephone or in person with new account services and cross-sell products
• Process deposits, transfers, and account changes with accuracy
• Educate clients on technology usage and bank services
• Support branch operations including teller and ATM related activities
• Maintain security, compliance, and audit readiness
