Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, MD seeks a Branch Administrator to support the Non-Kinetic Warfare Branch (A4) within the Air and Missile Defense Sector. You will partner with Branch Leadership, Talent Services, and stakeholders to keep daily operations running smoothly and professionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field with strong academic record.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret (and TS/SCI ultimately) security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage competing priorities and support Branch leadership across administrative tasks.
• Coordinate Branch activities, track milestones, and assist with strategic planning.
• Prepare meetings, capture notes, and produce summaries, reports, and presentations.
• Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, workspace setup, and new-hire orientation.
• Handle travel arrangements, travel documentation, and office logistics.
• Maintain security-related processes and assist with security onboarding.
