Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of machine operation experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
High school diploma required; technical education and brake press experience preferred.
Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening.
Stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Operate press brake machines to bend, shape, and form sheet metal according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Set up and calibrate machines, tooling, and dies for accurate production runs.
Position and align materials to ensure precise bending operations.
Inspect finished components using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools to verify quality standards.
Monitor production processes, troubleshoot minor machine issues, and maintain efficient workflow.
Complete production documentation, tally sheets, scrap reports, and related records in Epicor.
Follow safety procedures and perform routine tooling maintenance as needed.
