rms Company in Minnesota seeks a Brake Press Operator to plan, lay out and perform sheet metal operations for a wide range of parts with tight tolerances. 1st shift: Mon–Thu, 6am–4pm, in a manufacturing environment supporting medical device production.

The role requires reading blueprints, setting up brake presses, handling tools, and recording data in the ERP system while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in brake press setup.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read, comprehend, follow and document work instructions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform setup of brake presses and other sheet metal machines to bend, cut or form parts.
• Use hand tools and measuring instruments for precise fabrication.
• Perform shop mathematics and read blueprints at an intermediate level.
• Enter production information into the ERP system timely and accurately.
• Record and report hours worked and maintain safety standards.
• Support ISO and medical device quality requirements and follow work instructions.
