PROMAN Staffing is seeking a Brake Press Operator in Illinois to shape metal parts using a brake press. You will read blueprints, verify dimensions, and adjust as needed to meet tolerances. This role requires basic math for dimensions and routine machine maintenance to keep production moving.

The ideal candidate can lift up to 50 lbs, work in heat/smoke, and complete work within given timelines. Typical shift is 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in heat/smoke.
Must finish work within given time and meet deadlines.
Able to carry out basic math calculations for dimensions.

Responsibilities

Shape metal using the brake press machine.
Inspect blueprints and dimensions; adjust as needed.
Set up and perform routine maintenance on the machine.
Inspect metal during shaping and make adjustments as required.
