Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hydraulic press brake equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and angles.

• Identify missing or incorrect parts and notify management.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and proper PPE usage.

Job Position: Press Brake Operator Location: Addison,IL60101 Pay Rate: $21.00/hr Shift: 1st Description: Press Brake Operator Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Press Brake Operator to set up and operate hydraulic press brake equipment to form metal parts according to customer orders, specifications, and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hydraulic press brake equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and angles.
• Calculate bend locations, tonnage, and appropriate tooling.
• Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Identify missing or incorrect parts and notify management.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Properly stack and handle completed parts to prevent damage and unnecessary handling.
• Keep production schedules and order status up to date.
• Identify equipment issues or out-of-tolerance conditions and report problems to management.
• Follow all company safety procedures and requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous press brake experience preferred.
