Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Saint Maries, Idaho, seeks a Brake & Alignment Technician dedicated to servicing brake, alignment, and suspension components with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

You'll install and test hydraulic/electric braking systems, drive trains, batteries, and TPMS, while delivering prompt service and adhering to company policies and the Code of Conduct. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Test drive vehicles and operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Assist other technicians and provide excellent customer service.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience:
