Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in a fast-paced on-site role focused on brakes, alignment, and suspension services. The technician installs and services hydraulic brakes, suspensions, and TPMS, tests vehicles, and supports offsite and emergency road calls.

Applicants should have a valid driver’s license, strong customer service, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds with frequent bending and standing. Benefits are provided for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Test driving vehicles and operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, calibrate TPMS components, and use hand tools.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience:

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Pay and Benefits:
